Restlessness Is Not Always Bad

My heart is a nomad, restless

Recognizing that this world, and the human mind shaping it, can be traveled almost endlessly, there is so much to know and understand

And yet, it’s not even a fraction of Allah’s knowledge..

So how can we tell ourselves we’re a finished product?

How can we allow shaytan to make us believe we have reached the limits of our growth?

Isn’t stagnation of growth, the invitation of arrogance?

Isn’t the acceptance of stagnation, the delusion setting in that we can afford to rest in a place that’s designed to filter the sincere from the insincere?

Allah created our brain to “use it or lose it”

We either deepen its potential or are stripped from its use

So fitting for those of us who do not receive Allah’s gift with gratitude and care..

If you try to live close to Allah, you’ll know your calling.

You will know what is asked of you..
